We would be delighted to see you (or have you support) our fund raising concert on April 21 for S‘Cool Sounds. This is the organization that Matilda has traveled with to teach music in Burundi, Kenya and Jordan, as well as coaching S’Cool Sounds Juilliard graduate teaching artists working in New York city public schools. If you cannot come, please consider purchasing a ticket as a donation to ‘Cool Sounds. They are $35 and available on EventBrite. Here is the link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tales-of-love-tickets-44125641983?aff=erelexpmlt.
The concert is being presented in conjunction with LoveArtPlay, a great new organization based in New Milford to raise funds for people in the arts. They are bringing in professional NYC dancers and actors as part of our Tales of Love performance. The new Wykeham Consort album She Came out Of the Sea will be available at this performance. We hope to see you there!
Come join Wykeham Consort in celebrating the season of hope and returning light after the winter’s longest night with music from Renaissance Spain and the Sephardic Jews. Hear songs from both cultures about the mysterious moon, the joys and pangs of love and the eternal cycle of life experienced through the luscious melodies and driving rhythms of Spain, Eastern Europe and the Arabic lands.
